Hi folks:

Two weeks to go till the playoffs.

A nice come-from-behind win for the team last week courtesy of Brendan Dickie’s timely hattrick. Brendan wears the C this week, with Scott Cece wearing an A (and someone else, too. I don’t have my notes here!!!)

Anyway, we practice tomorrow at 6p at Kinoak, with the Dickies on juice duty.

Saturday we play at 10a vs. the Eagles. Expect another tough game.

 FYI, early warning: I’ve arranged for some extra ice and training for the team for Sunday, Feb. 19 at Twins Rinks, from 10:30a till noon. We’re splitting the ice with the Eagles and our guys will be given professional instruction from Dick Decloe’s folks (three or four instructors on the ice, as well as regular coaching staff.)

These guys do a very good job and I expect it will be a valuable opportunity for the kids. My older son has had a lot of time with Decloe’s staff through his Rangers team and some other things we arranged ourselves. It has helped him a lot.

We’ll cover the cost (our share is $200) from the team budget.

Should be fun, and I’ll bring the juice!
